George and Kayla East Coast Reception

George and Kayla wanted to elope. They had a special ceremony for family on the West Coast in June and they wanted to share special moments with more family and friends on the East Coast in October.

Family came from both coasts, as well, as their special friends from all over the world. Friday night reception, Sunday afternoon and Sunday brunch.

We had the honor of hosting their Sunday brunch and added some of their special touches to their Sunday Brunch at Virginia Beach National on the Green. A perfect ending to a wonderful weekend.

Oh, Kayla is Karen’s oldest daughter so this was a special day to share and create wonderful memories.

What is a Mistress of Ceremonies?

People always ask me “What is a Mistress of Ceremonies”? This is a small part of a wedding and a perfect job for us if the bride/groom have already planned their entire wedding day but need a bit of help the day of getting the bridal party down the aisle and to ensure that the wedding starts on time. Here are a few key tasks that really puts it in perspective. Call us today for more details.

  • Conducts Rehearsal for Bridal Party Lineup (Night before)

  • Day of Wedding - Serves as a Hostess and keeps the wedding running smoothly and on time

  • Welcomes guests as they arrive and directs them to their seats

  • Lines-up Bridal Party for Ceremony

  • Lines up Bridal Party for Grand Entrance to Reception

We are behind the scenes and usually no one notices us as we want the focal point to be the bride/groom.

Marcella and William Wedding - Norfolk, VA

How can we help you with your wedding plans? We are here to help make your day be amazing in every way. Full-Service, Day of Coordinator or like this beautiful wedding I was the Mistress of Ceremony.

Marcella and William are the cutest couple. They wrote amazing vows and 757 Wedding Pastor shared their story. It was so sweet and they even did Rock Paper Scissors on who was going to say their vows first.

Wiseacre Estate was a beautiful venue and Chuck and Jeff were great to work with. Grand Affairs Catering did the amazing food and always great to work with Jaki and the entire team.

It was an amazing day and went through all the weather elements from rain, wind, snow, hail but at the end we held the wedding and reception inside as it was 34 degrees outside. I noticed during the ceremony there was even a glimpse of sun and it was a beautiful moment.
